Ready to wear clothing – global brands
Shopping malls are today’s trend all over the world, and Belgrade is no exception. While you are in Belgrade you could visit Ušće Shopping Center, the biggest shopping center in Serbia and in the region. If you knew the meaning of the word Ušće (Ušće is a Serbian word for the confluence), you would easily guess the location of the Center. Ušće Center is located close to the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, and it’s not far from the old part of town, as well as the new business center of Belgrade.
Here you can find many of the global brands such as: Mango, Zara, H&M, C&A, New Yorker, Orsay, Levi’s, Massimo Dutti, Guess, Koton, United colors of Benetton, Tom Tailor, Timberland etc. Sometimes it can be a bit crowded, because a lot of people come here not only for shopping but also for socializing. If you plan to shop a lot, set aside at least half a day for visiting this shopping mall.
In smallers shopping malls such as Delta city, SC Stadion, Aviv park, Zira etc. you couldn’t find all of global brands that we mentioned in previous section, but you could find some local brands and these malls are less crowded than Ušće.
In my opinion, even better solution for shopping is the city center (Kralja Petra Street, Kralja Milana Street, Terazije) and the main pedestrian street Knez Mihailova. All global and Serbian brands have their shops there also. You can combine shopping with sightseeing, and you could take a break in some coffee shop or restaurant. At the end of shopping you will reach the end of Knez Mihailova street, and you are already at Kalemegdan where you could enjoy in fabulous view on the confluence.
Ready to wear clothing – Serbian brands
I’m always interested to buy some local products during my travels. That’s why I’ll present you some local Serbian brands. For some of them you may have already heard.
