Divcibare Ski Day Trip from Belgrade: Private Winter Escape to Serbia’s Mountain Slopes
A simple way to enjoy Serbia’s winter landscapes without planning logistics or committing to a full ski holiday.
Tour at a Glance
What to Expect from the Divcibare ski day trip from Belgrade
At the foot of the Crni Vrh slope, skis click into place and the lift slowly pulls skiers toward the ridge above the forest. From the top, the view opens across the Divcibare plateau — white meadows, dark pine woods, and small houses scattered in the snow. Some guests spend the day moving between the slope and the lift, while others leave the ski area behind and walk across the quiet winter fields where only a few paths cut through the snow. Later, a warm restaurant and mountain food bring everyone back together before returning to Belgrade.
For travelers more interested in history, monasteries, and local traditions, see our Fruska Gora Monasteries, Sremski Karlovci and Novi Sad, another experience located close to Belgrade.
Highlights
- Private winter escape from the city:
Instead of navigating winter roads or planning equipment rentals yourself, the entire day is organized from pickup to return. You can simply enjoy the mountain atmosphere while the guide quietly manages logistics. - Two different ways to experience the mountain:
Guests can choose between a Ski Package for time on the slopes or a Leisure Package focused on enjoying the winter landscape. This flexibility works well when people in the same group have different interests. - A ski resort close enough for a single day:
Divčibare is one of the rare Serbian mountains reachable in about 90 minutes from Belgrade. That short distance makes it possible to experience real winter scenery without turning the trip into a full ski holiday. - Beginner-friendly ski environment:
The Crni Vrh slope is suitable for relaxed skiing and first-time visitors. If you have never tried skiing before, a local instructor can help you take your first steps on the snow.
Tour Flow
#YourSerbiaHost will pick you up from your Belgrade address around 8am. The drive to Divčibare takes about 90 minutes and leads through the landscapes of West Serbia. Along the way, your guide introduces the region and explains how the day will unfold.
Ski Package
Once we arrive at Divcibare Resort, guests who selected the Ski Package head to the Crni Vrh slope to collect ski equipment and the ski pass. After that, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy on the slope at your own pace. If you are a beginner and would like to try skiing for the first time, a local instructor can be arranged (not included in the price). The slope is suitable for relaxed skiing and is often a comfortable place for first-time visitors to gain confidence on the snow.
Leisure Package
Guests who prefer a relaxed winter experience can explore the resort on foot and enjoy the snowy surroundings. A simple walk through the village paths or across the snowy meadows is often enough to appreciate the calm winter atmosphere of Divcibare. If you wish, we can also arrange optional activities such as quad rental or a 4×4 mountain tour around Divčibare (paid separately, advance booking recommended). These options allow you to see more of the surrounding mountain landscape.
Lunch Break
After time in the snow, most guests appreciate a warm meal and a short rest indoors. We usually stop at a local restaurant where you can try traditional Serbian mountain dishes (optional, not included). Following lunch, we begin the relaxed return drive to Belgrade.
You’ll reach Belgrade in the early evening. Usual drop-off time is 5/6pm.
